About Gina

Collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving have guided Gina in both her professional career and community service. With an engineering background and a strong connection to Centerville, she brings a balance of technical expertise and heartfelt commitment.

Gina and her husband, Matt, have made Centerville their home. Together they have five children: two married, one serving a mission in Riverside, California, and two still at home — a sophomore at Viewmont and a third grader. Their family experiences keep Gina grounded in the values that make Centerville such a wonderful place to live.

City & Community Experience

  • Centerville City Council (2022–Present) – Serving as a councilmember, Gina has focused on shaping and funding critical infrastructure. She has supported water system upgrades, park improvements, and long-term planning that ensures Centerville invests wisely in facilities residents rely on every day. She believes a council committed to responsible funding today creates stability and resilience for future generations. Gina has also supported funding to retain police officers and city staff who are essential to keeping Centerville safe, strong, and family-friendly.

  • Centerville Planning Commission (2014–2019) – Contributed to the South Main Street Planning efforts and the West Centerville Development Committee.

  • Schools & Youth – PTA President at Centerville Jr. High; Community Council member at Jennie P. Stewart Elementary, helping direct public funding to support student needs.

  • Community Service – Active in school committees and various church roles.

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering – Utah State University

  • Licensed Professional Engineer – 25 years

  • Sr. Project Engineer / Marketing Project Manager / Technical Documents (2009–Present) – Horrocks (CRS Engineers merged with Horrocks in 2024)

  • Project Manager (1996–2009) – Utah Division of Water Resources

Gina has worked with communities across Utah to assess infrastructure needs, affordability, and financing. She combines data analysis with stakeholder collaboration to find practical, affordable, and sensible solutions.
